Halloween!

Arrgh! Jarod made one of the cutest pirates we saw this year. He got very into the role and was so excited . At Grandma's in Utah the cousins had a halloween party and then Juan's boss had another and then the school had a monster mash party and then of course there was halloween. The costume got a lot of good use. Jarod says he was the captain and all the other pirates we saw were members of his crew.

Jarod lost a tooth!

Jarod lost his first tooth! He was so excited to put it under his pillow and see what the tooth fairy would bring. He woke up the next day VERY early and found a dollar. We had to go first thing to the dollar store and get a toy with his "tooth money". He was very funny about it and can't wait to lose more so he can get some more money.He has already started trying to wiggle others.

Our family picture in Utah

We went ot Utah in the beginning of October and were able to get a family picture taken finally. We had a lot of fun with our family and actually enjoyed the 81/2 hour drive each way.

Jarod and Barry

Jarod's kindergarten class has a mascot named Barry. He is a stuffed bear that gets to go home each weekend and visit a child from the class. Last weekend he spent time with us. The child that takes Barry home also gets to be the "Shooting Star" for the next week of school. The shooting star helps the teacher pass out papers and makes a poster all about themselves to share with the class. They also get to be the line leader and pick which tables of kids get to get in line first. Jarod is loving it. He tells us that he is trying to be fair and pick different kids each time .

The newest member of the family

This is Keyla! She is the newest member of our family. She is a 2 month old chiuaween. 3/4 chiuahua and 1/4 weiner dog. She is a very sweet puppy and loves to snuggle into our laps. She loves Jarod and follows him around a lot. It really drives him nuts.

Jarod's First Day of School

We cannot believe but Jarod is in school already!!! He is doing very well and he is loving it!!!! This is his first day of school!!
